The VM at OU Moon Night

Dr. Andy Tindle in front of the Apollo VM.

At the OU's Moon night, held on 1st December 2017, the VM Apollo pages sparkled in their best light... presented by Dr. Andy Tindle. About 200 visitors - school students, their parents, siblings, and members of the general public, visited the OU to explore what it means to become an astronaut - and what the Apollo astronauts achieved on the Moon. Curious to see the Apollo Moon rocks for yourself? Check them out in the Apollo Moon collection. In case you are curious, why there are many more Apollo 11 to 15 rocks than Apollo 16 and 17... We are currently digitizing Apollo 16, with more new rocks available early next year. There is lots more to come, so make sure you stop by soon again!
